COMPOSITION
Each film-coated tablet contains:
Cefpodoxime 200 mg
(As cefpodoxime proxetil)
Excipients s.q.f. one film-coated tablet
INDICATIONS
Treatment of the infections caused by cefpodoxime – susceptible strains:
Mild to moderate lower respiratory tract infections including community-acquired pneumonia and acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis.
Mild to moderate upper respiratory tract infections: Pharyngitis, tonsillitis.
Mild to moderate urinary tract infections.
Uncomplicated, mild to moderate skin and skin structure infections.
Acute otitis media, acute sinusitis.
Uncomplicated, disseminated gonorrhea.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to cefpodoxime or to the cephalosporin group of antibiotiscs or any of the constituents of the drug.
Patients with a history of moderate to severe hypersensitivity reactions to penicillins or other beta-lactam antibiotics.

Box of one blister x 10 film-coated tablets.
