COMPOSITION
Each hard capsule contains:
Acetylcysteine 200 mg
Excipients s.q.f. one hard capsule
INDICATIONS
Euxamus is used as a mucolytic in viscous mucus diseases such as cystic fibrosis of the pancreas, respiratory diseases with thick mucus such as acute and chronic bronchitis, routine clearing in tracheostomy.
Euxamus is used as an antidote for acetaminophen overdose.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to acetylcysteine or to any of constituents of the drug.
History of asthma (risk of bronchospasm with all dosage forms of acetylcysteine).
Children under 2 years old.
